Wondering how you can become an usher for

                    our 2021 Summer Festival?

We would be thrilled to have you join us as a part of the Usher Team at The Little Theatre!

 

Having a spot on an Usher Team is a first come-first serve  basis - so please sign up quickly.

Ushering is a fun way to invest in your community, support the arts and meet people.

You may volunteer for any performance that has openings. We also encourage you to invite your friends, family and co-workers to join you as a team of 3 for a performance.

 

Generally, performances take place Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees.  The time commitment for evening shows is 7p-9p  and 1:30p-3:30p during Sunday matinees.

The duties required for ushering during our 2021 Summer Festival are very minimal:

• Be at theatre 30 minutes prior to curtain (Evenings: 7p / Matinees: 1:30p)

• Hand out single use programs in auditorium

• Post show: Freshen & prepare auditorium and public restrooms for next show

​

The post-show duties should only take 10-15 minutes at most and are included in the projected time commitment.

 

You can subscribe to our Usher Team Newsletter, which shares upcoming events, special notices, online scheduling for all performances with a link to sign up for upcoming shows. All active ushers are put on an email list for updates, but, for those that prefer a phone call, no problem - I look forward to connecting with you by phone!

 

If you’ve volunteered for a shift and have signed up online through the links to the right, you'll receive friendly reminder emails prior to your shift as well.

 

No matter how you sign up, be sure to do so quickly – there are only 3 openings for each performance, and they get filled with lightning speed!
