About the play...
Lois Lancaster is a big-city journalist writing a story about the current state of modern mental health facilities.  Her research takes her to a hospital populated with a group of quirky inmates who imagine themselves to be crime-fighting superheroes.  At First Lois finds their elaborate superhero fantasies to be an entertaining diversion, the wild delusions of unstable minds, until something ... unusual happens that makes her wonder.

About the play...
While touring a house to potentially buy with their respective guardians, two young people meet in the adjoining cherry orchard. Over the course of a long conversation, they fall in love, fall out of love, fight, kiss, and propose marriage. At the point of utter confusion, they are interrupted by the housing agent, who explains the destruction of the institute of marriage. A total advocate for love, however, he makes some very good points. Once the young couple feels they understand, the agent is discovered and carted away to the asylum by a passing police officer; closing on a realistic beginning to a lasting marriage.

About the play...
When they were younger, Margaret got the man and Harriet got the wealth. After they run into each years later, Harriet invites Margaret over for tea. Both of them are cultured, while their primitive selves, Hetty and Maggie, display their innermost thoughts and feelings.
