USHER FOR THE LITTLE THEATRE

Wondering how you can become an usher?

Thank you for considering being a part of the Usher Team at The Little Theatre, we would be thrilled to have you join us!

Ushering is a fun way to share your time investing in your community and the arts as well as a great way to meet people. The schedule is very flexible - you may volunteer for any performance. We also encourage you to invite your friends and family to join you as an usher.

Generally, performances take place Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees.  The time commitment is typically from 6:30 to 10:30 PM or 1:00 to 4:00 PM, depending on the show day.

You'll be given a brief orientation prior to your shift and there are periodic “Meet, Greet and Train” times for the whole team. As an added thank you, you're invited to watch the show for free, should there be open seats for the performance you are ushering,

As an usher, you'll receive a monthly Usher Team Newsletter, which shares upcoming events, special notices  and interesting information - as well as an online schedule for all performances and a link to sign up for upcoming shows. All active ushers are put on an email list for updates, but, for those that prefer a phone call, no problem - I look forward to connecting with you by phone!

Two weeks before each show opens, an email is sent requesting ushers to sign up for any remaining open shifts. If you’ve volunteered for a shift, you will receive a friendly reminder email prior to that shift as well.

Current and upcoming usher opportunities will also be listed on our website.  No matter how you sign up, be sure to do so quickly – there are only 6 openings for each performance.

For more information or to get on our email list, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thanks again,
