We love volunteers!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on stage?  To run up those stairs in that funny sketch, to handle the gun in that murder mystery or to be the person in black between the scenes moving the furniture to create the next scene? You are in luck!

Volunteers make up every aspect of our theatre and we welcome everyone!  Become a member of our theatre family as a volunteer doing anything from acting to directing or painting the set and being an usher.  You don’t need prior knowledge of how to build sets or how to usher or act…you only need the desire to give back to your community and have a little fun while you’re doing it.

Here are just a few of the volunteer opportunities we have:

Ushering – A commitment of maybe one night per show, which you can see for free. You will greet guest and hand out programs…maybe even run into friend who enjoy the same interests! We really need your help.

Set Building – If you enjoy swinging a hammer, come help build sets!

Commitment: approximately a half day one Saturday or Sunday before a production takes the stage.

Back Stage Crew – Requires moving various props and furniture in low light situations.  This is a fun way to see what goes on behind the scenes of a production. Commitment: 2 weeks prior to the production and all performances of a play.

Lighting – Help hang lights and learn how to use lighting to create different moods based on what is occurring in a scene. Commitment: all the hours you want.

Acting – Come to an audition and try out for a part – large or small! If you are cast in a role, it will require a larger commitment of 6-7 weeks, plus shows.

Additional options – There are always opportunities to learn about becoming a Stage Manager, Producer, Costumer or even enter our program to become a Director! For more of a long term commitment you can contact us for more information about our many volunteer jobs and committees that keep our theatre running… Bring a friend, step out of your comfort zone and take on something that can be fun and very rewarding...theatre! We have many, many ways to welcome you into the fold! If you have any questions, please contact us using the link above.
