The Arts Club Program

Uniting the Artistry of winemaking with the creativity of live-performance

Because some experiences are meant to be shared.

Four of Walla Walla’s premier wineries - Amavi Cellars, Kontos Cellars, Pepper Bridge Winery, and Woodward Canyon - have partnered with Gesa Powerhouse Theater and The Little Theatre of Walla Walla to launch the The Arts Club, a new initiative intended to bring wine lovers and theatergoers together in celebration of culture, craft, and community.

The Arts Club offers exclusive benefits to wine club members of the participating wineries, including access to specially selected wines featured at each theater performance. Members can enjoy these wines by the glass at a price that honors their wine club status, while experiencing the richness of live performance. The program highlights the shared values of artistry, storytelling, and hospitality that unite Walla Walla’s wine and performing arts communities.

When you raise a glass of local wine while watching a live performance, you’re not just enjoying two art forms-you’re supporting the growers, artists, actors, and storytellers who make Walla Walla vibrant.

How the program works

  • Wine Club Members of the participating wineries will need to pick up their "Arts Club Card” at the winery.

  • You will need to present your Arts Club Card” everytime you purchase a glass of the featured wine at the theaters. This is important because the Theaters will not be able to look you up.

  • Arts Club wine will be available at $8.00 per glass at scheduled Gesa Powerhouse Theater and The Little Theatre of Walla Walla events, but not private, rented, or closed events. Bottle sales are not available.

FAQs

If I am member of (participating winery) but (a different winery) is being featured at an event, am I able to purchase a glass of the featured wine?

  • Yes! This program is a partnership of the four wineries and two theaters, intended to celebrate the arts and our local community. In that spirit, the wineries are welcoming you to enjoy unique wine not typically available at these venues as a thank you!

What if I am a wine club member of a winery, but not a member of one of the four wineries you named?

  • Unfortunately, you need to be a member of one of the participating wineries. However, you will be able to sign up for the Wine Club at the event. You will need to show confirmation of your membership before you are provided your Arts Club Card. Links to the participating Wine Clubs are linked to their logo above on this page!

How or where do I get my “Arts Club Card”?

  • The winery you are a wine club member of will provide you with your card. Just make sure you bring it with you to the participating theaters, otherwise you will not be able to enjoy the featured wine! The bartenders at the theaters will not have access to look you up in a system or list.

Why did you create “The Arts Club”? Why those wineries and those venues?

  • The Arts Club was born from the belief that great things happen when we come together. Walla Walla is a place where wine, art, and community are deeply connected - and this partnership celebrates these core principles. This is the first year of this collaboration. We are open to changing (nothing is perfect on your first attempt), expanding (wineries and venues where it makes sense), or cellaring (letting this concept age a bit longer) this program based on your feedback over the course of the theater season.

  • Amavi represents love (amor), life (viva), and wine (vinum). All wines are 100% Estate, 100% Sustainable, and 100% Walla Walla. Amavi Cellars was founded in 2001 by wine pioneer Norm McKibben as a way to showcase his award-winning Walla Walla estate fruit. Whether enjoyed at home, shared with friends, or discovered in the heart of wine country, Amavi Cellars stands as a true expression of Walla Walla’s spirit.
