Our Audition Process
For Regular Productions (non-musical)… Please show up about 6:45 pm. You will be greeted at the front of the auditorium where you will be handed an Audition Form to fill out. Most Directors will supply a character sheet that can be handed out then. If you happen to have a headshot and resume, we can attach it to the audition form. If not, and you are new to the Theatre, we will take a small polaroid and attach it to the form. The auditions consist of cold reads from the play so the Directors can see how you read with others. You are usually welcome to come both nights if you want, but it is not mandatory.
For Musical Productions… You will start the evening by filling out the Audition Form. Again, if you have a headshot and resume, you can bring that or a photos may be taken to attach to your form. You will be required to bring a song that shows your range, usually no longer than 1 minute. You can either supply sheet music for the pianist or a Bluetooth speaker will be supplied and you can use your phone for the music. If you bring sheet music, please mark the beginning and ending of the song portion you will be singing. You will also be doing movement auditions so please dress comfortably in something you can move in. You will also be doing a cold reading from the play so the Directors can see how you read with others. If necessary, there may be call backs, but that will be mentioned during the auditions.
We are excited to see you at Auditions! We love to see new people come out and join our theatre family! If you have any questions, please hit the button below and we will try and answer your questions. Hope to see you soon!!!

About the Show:
In this hilarious comedy two English Shakespearean actors, Jack and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing “Scenes from Shakespeare” on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York, PA is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. The trouble is, when they get to York, they find out that the relatives aren't nephews, but nieces! Romantic entanglements abound, especially when Leo falls head-over-petticoat in love with the old lady's vivacious niece, Meg, who's engaged to the local minister. Meg knows that there's a wide world out there, but it's not until she meets “Maxine and Stephanie” that she finally gets a taste of it.
